Brief:
The challenge is to create a winning design for the tile/s, Tile size 30 x 20 cm. The winning designs will be hand painted using the ‘flow glazed’ technique onto the tiles by world famous skilled artists from Anita Harris Art Pottery . The finished tiles will then be used to create a ‘temporary wonderwall’ of completed designs and tiles, this will be constructed and exhibited in Stoke on Trent and Cheshire to coincide with the 2012 Olympic Games. Following this a permanent piece of public art will be created using the winning tiles. Designs can be created using computer graphics, digital photography, line drawing and painting.
